Rider
indicates that she rode this ride in the middle part of
train, but despite her best efforts the roughness of
ride did not allow her to sit back and brace herself
with causing back pain. Rider indicates that she had
earlier rode this roller coaster in the front row and
did not find the ride to be as rough.
Riders on
this wooden roller coaster were quick to
point out how 'rough' it was. Many of the
complaints stem from riders sitting in all
seats within the roller coaster train.
Furthermore, issues with back pain after
riding this attraction were common, and the
only type of injury associated with riders
on this attraction.
Titan
The Titan roller
coaster has caused riders a range of issues,
those include:
Near
or Complete black outs
'Greying'
Out
Nausea
associated with Near or complete black
outs
Acute
vision problems that went away after a
few minutes
Leg
Cramps
First off,
many of the issues mentioned above stemmed
from riders not being hydrated. Those riders
who 'greyed' out mainly indicated that they
did not have anything to drink and/or did
not eat anything prior to riding Titan.
Riders who
neared or completely blacked out had mainly
been drinking liquids, in fact it was the
total opposite of what was mentioned of
those who 'greyed' out.
Leg Cramps
occurred to those who had not had anything
to drink, and interestingly enough leg
cramps were more seen towards the end of the
day and late afternoon / early evening.
Which makes sense, when you add in the heat
and walking one does in a day at an
amusement park.
Riders
with acute vision problems after riding this
roller coaster was something we cannot pin
point at this time. It is something we're
trying to pin point, however, at this time
all we really know is that riders who
experienced this were in the back of the
roller coaster train.
Texas Giant
This
wooden roller coaster is one of the rougher
ones we have come across. Rider complaints
on this roller coaster point at back and
neck pain, nausea, and overall discomfort
with the rough nature of the ride.
Back pain
was pin pointed by riders as being evident
during the first drop. Riders were more
uncomfortable in the middle and back rows of
this roller coaster. We did not receive one
complaint from riders sitting in the first 4
rows of this roller coaster.
This amusement
park can be horrific during summer months if you do
not keep yourself sun tanned lotion up, hydrated,
and calm. There will typically be lines and we
advise to keep clear of this park during the
afternoon hours during the summer. Early morning and
early evening visits are something you may want to
explore and/or consider.
Safety alert
is pending on Titan and it will be passed on to Six Flags over
Texas for review and comment.
