Injury/Incident Trends:

Demon Riders on this roller coaster pin point neck pain related issues during the corkscrew element on this ride. Contributors have also made reference to this part of the roller coaster being "really rough and uncomfortable."
Superman-Ultimate Flight Riders on this roller coaster are having problems breathing -- oddly enough there are two identical roller coasters at two other Six Flags venues that did not have these issues forwarded to us. Riders have indicated the following issues when riding Superman - Ultimate Flight at this venue:
  • Greying Out
  • Nose Bleeds
  • Difficulty Breathing
  • Various parts of the body "falling asleep"

The above mentioned issue should be considered before you decide to board this roller coaster. Safety Alert being created on this particular roller coaster.

Iron Wolf This stand-up roller coaster has issues revolving around riders banging their heads into the hard restraints. Rider issues also seem to stem from those who were riding in the last row of the roller coaster train. Ear, Neck, and Back related issues were not uncommon. Headaches induced by this roller coaster were also high, riders indicating that the roughness of this roller coaster triggered pounding headaches that lasted the rest of their visits.

Oddly enough the Viper wooden roller coaster did not receive one complaint, in fact riders really liked this roller coaster. There were occasional minor complaints, but nothing we would deem an issue. We expect good things out of this amusement park in 2008 and have a visit planned sometime this summer.

Issues with Superman - Ultimate Flight are quite interesting. Two other Six Flags Venues did not have the breathing problem issues. A Safety Alert has been created and there will be a follow-up.
